Most NAMI Washington County peer support groups and workshops are still meeting virtually at this time and we are holding all events virtually until further notice.

NAMI Washington County will gradually begin offering in-person support groups in our building so long as we can meet safely. Please continue to check the website for up-to-date information on currently offered support groups & workshops and for all upcoming events or call us at (503) 356-6835.

*To keep each other safe and not help spread Covid-19 throughout our community, masks are optional upon entering our building. We will please ask that you also answer a few symptom screening questions as well.

Thank you very much for your patience and flexibility during these difficult and uncertain times.

Home: Who We Are

Services

At NAMI Washington County we work on many mental health awareness and community health initiatives to help improve the lives of others, through community outreach and education, supporting mental wellness in peer-led support groups and direct individual peer support, and wellness and recovery workshops. Learn more about what we do, who we help, and how we work every day to promote well-being in our community by visiting us at our newly remodeled building, calling us at (503) 356-6835, or clicking the buttons below.

Support

At NAMI Washington County, we offer various support groups with more being added when the need arises and qualified facilitators join our affiliate. NAMI support groups are peer-led and offer participants an opportunity to share their experiences and gain support from other attendees. NAMI Washington County also has partnered with the Mental Health & Addiction Association of Oregon, MHAAO, to offer PeerZone, a series of peer-led workshops for people who experience mental distress and addiction. The workshops provide a fun, interactive, and safe structure for participants to share their experiences, learn self-management and expand their horizons.
